As part of building my commercial portfolio, I have been working on improving my studio/location skills as well as taking the time to watch post production and retouching tutorials. After having a one to one portfolio review with Lois Jordan, she advised me experiment more with my retouching techniques in order to make my work more industry standard.

I have been watching tutorials on the phlearn youtube channel, as the videos are easy to follow and understand. One technique I have learned and applied to my recent work is frequency separation. This is a relatively straightforward process to take in photo shop and has accelerate the process and time scale of my work flow.
